This healthy snack recipe
is another common street food in Thailand. You can find a vendor selling fried
tofu or Tao-Huu-Todd in almost every local markets. It’s easy to cook and good
for your health, also a vegetarian snack.
Healthy snack recipe –Fried tofu |
1-2 Tofu (Hard tofu), cut
into pieces
Dipping
½ cup Vinegar
2 ts. Salt
½ cup Sugar
1 ts. Tapioca or corn
starch
¼ cup Peanut, roasted and
crushed
1 tbs. Chilli, crushed
Coriander, roughly
chopped
- Fried tofu (Deep fried). Take out and put them in a plate.
- For the dipping, mix vinegar with salt and sugar. Boil and stir until the sugar is diluted. Add tapioca starch and stir. Add crushed chilli.
- Add crushed peanut and chopped coriander. Serve with fried tofu.
